Secretary Fudge will hold a virtual “house party” on November 1.
Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Marcia Fudge announced that she will be holding a virtual “House Party” on November 1. Data gathered by HUD has found that young adult homeownership has been on the decline since the 1960s, a trend that has intensified over the past few years. Secretary Fudge hopes to demystify the home-buying process and acquaint young adults with the federal resources available to aid their journey toward homeownership.
“Too many young people feel discouraged and intimidated by the homebuying process and HUD is here to help,” said Secretary Fudge. “HUD and the Federal Housing Administration are dedicated to helping more young people realize their dream of becoming homebuyers and enjoying the wealth-building benefits that come with it.”
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For Secretary Fudge to be discerning in her meeting with young adults to acquaint them with tools for home ownership.
- For the president and his administration as they seek to encourage younger home buyers.
